<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a biochip which can detect a gene in reduced irregularity of detected fluorescent light intensity and in high repeatability in a method for detecting the gene by a hybridization reaction on a prescribed substrate carrier. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the biochip, in which a physiologically active substance-catching carrier is fixed to a substrate carrier surface, comprises (a) a process for fixing the physiologically active substance-catching carrier to the surface of the substrate carrier and (b) a process for bringing a solution containing a nonionic surfactant into contact with the surface of the substrate carrier. Preferably, the nonionic surfactant is one of Tween 20 (polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate), Tween 80 (polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate), and Triton X-100 (polyethylene glycol-p-isooctyl phenyl ether). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
