PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range display device preventing a driver from feeling uncomfortable by preventing the variation of time required to display a shift range. SOLUTION: A T-ECU measures an elapsed time from the occurrence of a switching request by a timer when determining that a shift lever is operated to make a shift range switching request (Yes in step S11). The T-ECU displays the requested shift range on a range display part when determining that an operating oil temperature is an oil temperature T or lower (No in step S12). The T-ECU displays a determined present display on the range display part when determining that the present range is determined (Yes in step S15), and puts out the light in the range display part when the present range is not determined within a predetermined time (t) (No in step S16).
