PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein when a destination is not set, it is not possible to notify whether the destination is a parking-prohibited area. SOLUTION: A road on which a vehicle is parked at a frequency not less than a predetermined frequency is identified. A traveling locus for parking indicative of a traveling locus of the vehicle to the road when the vehicle is parked on the road, is obtained. It is determined whether the vehicle is traveling toward the road, on the basis of the traveling locus for parking and the current traveling locus of the vehicle; and when it is determined that the vehicle is traveling toward the road, it is determined whether the road is a parking-prohibited area, when the vehicle is to be parked on the road.
