<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive sensor which has satisfactory dimensional accuracy and which can easily be manufactured, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of conductive members 4 spaced apart from each other are arranged along a spacer 6. The spacer 6 and the conductive members 4 are covered with an insulating material by mixing bubbles and coating into the insulating material to form an insulating member 3 having a foam structure and elasticity. A gap is formed around the spacer 6 by introducing a pressure gas around the spacer 6, and the spacer 6 is drawn out to form a hollow part 2 in the insulating member 3. The plurality of conductive members 4 are held in the hollow part 2 in a separated state so as to be in contact with each other when the insulating member 3 is deformed.
