摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle capable of preventing heating of a generator. <P>SOLUTION: The control device of the hybrid vehicle includes a control means for switching a shift mode, by fixing a rotor using a locking mechanism, from a continuously variable shift mode in which reaction torque is output by a motor generator according to engine torque of an engine to a fixed shift mode in which a rotation speed ratio of the engine rotation speed of the engine to the rotation speed of a driving shaft is fixed. The control means reduces the engine torque of the engine when the rotation speed of the motor generator becomes below prescribed rotation speed, switching the shift mode from the variable shift mode to the fixed shift mode. Thus, temperature rise of a semiconductor element in an inverter for driving the motor generator can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
