摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus capable of selecting an optimum TRCH(transport channel) for performing outer loop control in response to various conditions set for the TRCH.

SOLUTION: When data communication is performed with a base station by using a plurality of TRCHs sharing a frequency band, the radio communication apparatus 100 selects a reference TRCH on the basis of a method for encoding data to be transmitted by utilizing this TRCH. Then, the radio communication apparatus 100 executes outer loop control so that a BLER (block error rate) of the data to be transmitted by utilizing the reference TRCH may become a target BLER (Target BLER).
