摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shift shock caused by change to a gear ratio different from a target gear ratio when an ON/OFF state of a power is switched during shift control to a target engine speed by shifting a stepped transmission mechanism between an engagement side and a disengagement side. <P>SOLUTION: This control apparatus for the automatic transmission includes a sub transmission mechanism AT having a high clutch H/C and a low brake L/B and deciding a desired shift stage by combining engagement and disengagement of the clutch H/C and the brake L/B, a power ON/OFF state determining means for determining the ON/OFF state of the power for driving the transmission mechanism AT, and a continuously variable transmission mechanism CVT for controlling transmission so as to achieve the target speed ratio in corporation with shift control of the transmission mechanism AT. When the power ON/OFF state is switched from OFF to ON in an inertia phase during power OFF up-shift of the transmission mechanism AT, the brake L/B on the disengagement side is rapidly disengaged, and the clutch H/C is rapidly engaged so that the change of input torque of the transmission mechanism AT is suppressed by the clutch H/C on the engagement side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
