<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression coupling for piping, that prevents a compression ring from coming off, while having a small number of part items that make up the compression coupling for piping. <P>SOLUTION: A compression ring section 13 is integrated with a piping connection 11. To connect a pipe 30, an insulating material 21 for preventing electric corrosion of an aluminum layer 32 is positioned in the deepest part of a piping insertion groove 14, and then the pipe connection 11 is fitted over the pipe 30 and the pipe 30 is inserted sufficiently so that an end of the pipe 30 reaches the deepest part of the pipe insertion groove 14. Next, an end side of the compression ring section 13 is pressed by spinning or the like in a diameter-reducing direction to reduce the diameter of and deform it. The corner edge 13e on the inner periphery of the end of the compression ring section 13 is integrated into the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 30 and the inner peripheral surface of the pipe 30 is strongly pressed against the grooved bottom surface of a recess 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
