<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar apparatus that calculates out an axial shift amount in a vertical direction of a radar beam. <P>SOLUTION: This radar apparatus 1 includes a radar 3 and an ECU 2 to which the radar 3 is connected. The ECU 2 detects a stationary structural object in target objects that are detected by the radar 3 and are placed at an upper or lower front view of an own vehicle. The ECU 2 calculates out a shift angleΔθ(an axial shift amount) of the radar beam with respect to the vertical direction of the own vehicle on the basis of an angle in the vertical direction formed by a moving direction of the detected stationary structural object T relative to the own vehicle M and an advancing direction of the own vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
