摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new glass for fluorescence glass dosimeter having the same thermal neutron sensitivity as generally used thermal luminescence dosimeters without impairment of fluorescence characteristics and without having no effect on a fluorescence glass element forγ-ray compensation. <P>SOLUTION: By adding a thermal-neutrons-alpha-ray conversion agent to silver-activated phosphate glass, the glass for a glass fluorescence glass dosimeter sensitive to thermal neutrons emits fluorescence with wavelengths of 500 to 800 nm by ultraviolet excitation after irradiation and is characterized in that its fluorescence temporal characteristics do not depend on the concentration of the thermal-neutrons-alpha-rays conversion agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
