摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanocarbon generation device which efficiently and inexpensively mass-produces high-quality nanocarbon having high purity and stability, and consequently, continuously generates the nanocarbon almost semipermanently and produces the nanocarbon in large quantities. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The nanocarbon generation device includes: a heating furnace container 11 which has a reducing atmosphere and is arranged vertically; conical plates 13a, 13b each of which is arranged in the heating furnace container in multiple stages concentrically with the container to have an oblique angle; a heating jacket 17 arranged as an outer peripheral part of the conical plates; a hydrocarbon-catalyst mixing/spraying nozzle 19 for mixing a hydrocarbon with a very small amount of fine metal catalyst powder and spraying the metal catalyst powder-mixed hydrocarbon toward the inside of the heating furnace container; and a nanocarbon discharge nozzle 20. In the nanocarbon generation device, the metal catalyst powder-mixed hydrocarbon in which the hydrocarbon is mixed with a very small amount of the fine metal catalyst powder is sprayed from the hydrocarbon-catalyst mixing/spraying nozzle to cause nanocarbon to react on the conical plates and grow, the grown nanocarbon is stripped from the conical plates and the stripped nanocarbon is discharged from the nanocarbon discharge nozzle.
