摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut fixing method for a toroidal type continuously variable transmission that suppresses force applied to a disk rotating shaft along a radial direction when fixing a nut. SOLUTION: The nut fixing method for the toroidal type continuously variable transmission continuously changing a variable speed ratio, which is a rotating speed ratio between an input disk and an output disk, by the inclined rotation of a power roller provided between the input disk and the output disk which are provided at a disk rotating shaft 11, is provided for fixing a loading nut 100 screwed with an end outside surface 11d of the disk rotating shaft 11 of the toroidal type continuously variable transmission, to the disk rotating shaft 11. In the nut fixing method, a plurality of notches 11e are provided at the end outside surface 11d along a direction around a rotation axis X1 of the disk rotating shaft, and a plurality of caulking parts 101 provided at the loading nut 100 corresponding to the plurality of notches 11e are simultaneously caulked to the plurality of notches 11e.
