<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a problem in which a moving image encoder apparatus that can reduce processing associated with error corrections when there is no error between a predictive image and an original image and then improve coding efficiency, a moving image decoder apparatus, and a moving image transmission system are desired. <P>SOLUTION: The moving image encoder apparatus 101 using DVC (distributed moving image coding) includes a Wyner-Ziv frame encoder 103 for forming the predictive image of a Wyner-Ziv frame on the basis of coded key frames, and determining, according to the fallibility of the transform coefficients of the predictive image with respect to the transform coefficients of an original image based on the Wyner-Ziv frame, the amount of error correction codes to be transmitted so as to transmit the error correction codes according to the determined amount. When no errors are found between the transform coefficients of the original image of the Wyner-Ziv frame and the predictive image, information indicating that no errors are found is sent out instead of the error correction codes for the Wyner-Ziv frame in question. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
