PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a risk that a storage medium is illicitly copied and illicitly used so that a program may be illicitly inputted to an information processing apparatus when the program can be inputted to the information processing apparatus such as an image forming apparatus by using a storage medium such as a memory card.

SOLUTION: The storage medium is used for inputting a program for causing the information processing apparatus to perform information processing into an information processing apparatus, wherein the storage medium stores an ID file for storing the ID of the program by encrypting the ID by a key specific to the storage medium or specific to the information processing apparatus.
