PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device with a simple and reliable configuration which has a tank storing garbage-containing water discharged from disposers and transfers the water from the tank to a dehydrator by a submerged pump. SOLUTION: The tank 3 into which crushed garbage discharged from a disposer 1 and water are poured is arranged, and a centrifugal submerged pump 4 is installed within the tank. An air bleed tube 7 is attached in a transfer tube 6 connecting the outlet of the submerged pump with a dehydrator 5 through a valve, and at least one jet nozzle 9 is arranged on the bottom of the tank 3. Until the water level in the tank rises to a specified rising water level A, the air in the blade part of the pump 4 and the transfer tube 6 is drawn. When the water level reaches the specified rising water level A, water for stirring is jetted from the spraying nozzle 9, and after several seconds, the submerged pump 4 is started.
