<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translation apparatus, a method and a program that are suited to the translation of a document of software. <P>SOLUTION: The translation apparatus includes a source code storage part 32 for storing the source code of software, a generation part 45 for generating a document describing specifications of the source code in a source language, a document storage part 34 for storing the generated document, an acquisition part 50 for acquiring the document from the document storage part and acquiring the source code from which the document is generated from the source code storage part, a detection part 60 for detecting program elements appearing in the acquired source code from the acquired document by referring to the source code, a setting part 70 for setting the detected program elements as untranslatable phrases which need not be translated into a target language, a translation part 80 for translating all phrases in the document other than untranslatable phrases into the target language, and an output part 20 for outputting the document translation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
