<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device improving positioning accuracy and reducing a friction torque, and an information recording and reproducing device. <P>SOLUTION: A pivot shaft (bearing device) 10 includes: a shaft 40; a sleeve 60 coaxially arranged spaced by a predetermined clearance in the radial direction of the shaft 40; a bearing body 70 arranged between the shaft 40 and the sleeve 60 and including a pair of receiving surfaces 74, 74 enlarged in diameter toward the opening side, at both end openings on the inner peripheral side; and a pair of support members 50 fixed to the outer peripheral surface 41 of the shaft 40 with a space in the axial direction, and having facing surfaces 51 contacting the receiving surfaces 74 respectively. The facing surface 51 is composed of a conical surface having the same tapered angle as the receiving surface 74 and forming a straight line in a cross section including an axis L1, and a convex surface projected to the receiving surface 74 side from the conical surface and forming a circular arc shape in a cross section including the axis L1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
