<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new vaccine formulation containing hepatitis B antigen compounded with aluminum phosphate. <P>SOLUTION: This vaccine formulation can further include deactivated hepatitis A virus, aluminum hydroxide and formol. A combined hepatitis A and hepatitis B vaccine formulation can, if desired, be administered to a human patient by two-dosing regimen.
