PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic contact capable of being connected to an external electrode of an electronic component with a proper contact pressure and including a protrusion which is not easily deformed even if the protrusion comes into contact with the external electrode. SOLUTION: An elastic contact 20 includes a protrusion 23 at an end 22b thereof. The elastic contact 20 has an internal elastic layer formed with Ni or an alloy containing Ni, and is connected to an external electrode 42 of an electronic component 40 with a proper contact pressure. A surface layer covering the elastic layer is formed with Au, and the protrusion 23 is formed with any one of: an alloy of Cu and Ni; Ni; and Au. Since the alloy of Cu and Ni, and Ni, have a hardness higher than Au forming the surface layer, the protrusion 23 is not easily deformed even if the elastic contact 20 comes into contact with the external electrode 42 by a great pressing force.
