PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspicious individual monitoring system capable of judging the suspicious individual by only face authentication, and also capable of detecting tailgating. SOLUTION: An intruder monitoring system is equipped with a camera 1 for imaging a monitoring object area M, a controller 2 equipped with a function for recognizing and tracking the individual from the image imaged by the camera 1, and a management device 3 for displaying the photographed image of the camera 1 and sounding an audible alarm if needed, and a behavioral pattern storage part for storing the behavioral pattern including the face information storage part for storing the face information of the individual and a specified behavior pattern PT1 proceeding to the suspicious individual intrusion prohibited area B1 are arranged in the controller 2. When the face of the individual read from the photographed image is not identical to the face information registered in the face information storage part and the behavioral trajectory of the specific behavioral pattern PT1 is taken, the controller 2 judges as the suspicious individual intrusion.
