PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a fish gathering effect in a fishing hook used for the fishing of various applications by furthermore improving the rising to fish's fitting on the body of the fishing hook to bring about an increase in fishing results. SOLUTION: A luminous body (a fluorescent part 6 coated with fluorescent coating 6a or an emission sheet containing the fluorescent coating) is provided to the surface of the knot 5 formed to the body 1 of the fishing hook by binding fastening yarn 4a, which is formed by intertwisting fibers, to the root 2 of the fishing hook, and the outer periphery of the luminous body is covered with a light pervious protective cover 7. The protective cover 7 is obtained by directly covering the outer periphery of the luminous body or the outer periphery of the light pervious sheet such as an aurora sheet or the like applied to the outer periphery of the luminous body with a light pervious tube 8.
