PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily detect the fact that a plurality of portable electronic devices being carried together are far from each other, from a moving situation of the portable electronic devices. SOLUTION: A mobile phone CP detects the state of vibration to be applied in accordance with the movement of the mobile phone CP, and obtains, via short-range communication, the state of vibration (moving situation) to be applied in accordance with the movement of a watch WT. By comparing the state of vibration (moving situation) of the mobile phone CP with the state of vibration (moving situation) of the watch WT, when it is determined that the moving situation of the mobile phone CP and the moving situation of the watch WT are not identical in features, the mobile phone CP executes predetermined security processing.
