<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion composition that exhibits high contrast when formed into a color filter, inhibits or prevents surface roughness and achieves good display performance even after subjected to processes such as development, post-bake, UV cleaning and the like during the molding process of the color filter and exhibits high dispersion stability. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion composition includes an organic pigment fine particle and a polymer compound having a pigment-adsorbing group. The organic pigment fine particle is a build-up pigment fine particle precipitated by mixing a solution of an organic pigment prepared by dissolving an organic pigment in a good solvent with a poor solvent compatible with the good solvent and acting as a poor solvent for the organic pigment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
