<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for positioning an image forming member by which a distance between adjacent image forming members is made uniform, and an image forming apparatus provided therewith. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes: a plurality of photoreceptor drums 11A to 11D which are arranged in parallel; a one-end side supporting member 14 and an other-end side supporting member 16 provided on both end sides of the photoreceptor drums 11 respectively; and supporting plates 24 of the same dimension, which are as many as the photoreceptor drums 11A to 11D and are arranged in a line on the one-end side supporting member 14 and the other-end side supporting member 16 respectively, and support and position the ends of the photoreceptor drums 11. Each of the one-end side supporting member 14 and the other-end side supporting member 16 includes: a leaf spring 42S energizing one-end side in an arranging direction of the supporting plates 24 in the arranging direction; and a stopper part 44 supporting the other-end side in the arranging direction of the supporting plates 24.
