<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for executing a job by providing a printer with a device for inputting biological information even when an information processor is not provided with any device for inputting the biological information in executing secure print by using the biological information of a user. <P>SOLUTION: In this information processing system including a job processor having a storage means for storing the biological information of a user and an information processor for communicating with the job processor, the information processor is configured to transmit a job to be executed by the job processor and information showing that authentication using the stored biological information is necessary for executing the job to the job processor, and the job processor receives the job and the transmitted information from the information processor, and inputs the biological information of the user, and when receiving the job and the information, the job processor authenticates the user on the basis of the input biological information and the stored biological information, and when the authentication is successful, executes the received job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
