摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate adjustment and to enhance adjusting accuracy in terms of ejection of a liquid droplet. SOLUTION: An operation signal as follows is generated. The operation signal includes at least a first portion (first decompressing portion d1) that allows an element (piezoelectric element 45) to perform operation for expanding a pressure chamber (43), a second portion (first hold portion h1) that is generated continuously to the first portion and maintains a state of the element when finishing application of the first portion, and a third portion (pressure portion) that is generated continuously to the second portion and allows the element to perform operation for contracting the pressure chamber so as to eject the liquid droplet from a nozzle (44). The liquid droplet is ejected (S2) on a plurality of conditions in which at least one of a generation period and a voltage difference from start voltage to finish voltage is changed in the first portion and the second portion, whether or not variation in measured flying speed is within tolerance is evaluated (S7), and voltage waveform of the operation signal is decided in accordance with a result of evaluation (S8).
