PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element material capable of manufacturing an organic electroluminescent element having a low drive voltage and sufficient life by forming a light emission layer of the organic electroluminescent element by a wet film forming method. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element material comprises a fluorescent light emission compound represented by formula (1). The organic electroluminescent element material is characterized in that an R value (%) in a laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry calculated by the following formula (a) is 0.5 or less (wherein Ar<SP>31</SP>-Ar<SP>35</SP>represents an aromatic hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent group). R value%=I<SB>Ar(35)-N</SB>/I×100 (a). (In the formula (a), I<SB>Ar(35)-N</SB>represents ionic strength derived from cleavage between Ar<SP>35</SP>-N and addition to the fluorescent light emission compound after cleavage, and I represents total ionic strength).
