<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain correct height when the same measuring object is measured a plurality of times while a measuring device is moving. <P>SOLUTION: A measuring interval calculation section 21 calculates the measuring time interval at which a distance sensor section 14 can measure one measuring object 100 the plurality of times based on a speed measuring value of a vehicle 1 measured by the speed sensor section 13, and an indicating section 22 indicates the distance sensor section 14 to measure it at the calculated measuring time interval. A determining section 24 determines whether the shape of the measuring object to be measured matches with that of the actually measured measuring object 100 based on distance measurement information output from the distance sensor section 14. When the matching of the shapes is determined, distance measurement information showing the minimum distance is selected from the distance measurement information continuously acquired when the measuring object 100 is measured, and this is set as the correct distance measurement information.
