<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas treatment apparatus and carrier-packed body, capable of improving deodorization efficiency and suppressing clogging. <P>SOLUTION: The gas treatment apparatus 10 includes a treatment tank 11 for housing fungus liquid, a circulation drive part 13 for circulating the fungus liquid inside the treatment tank through piping 12, a mixing part 14 disposed in the piping so as to mix the gas of a treatment object and the fungus liquid from the treatment tank, and a carrier-packed part 15 wherein many microorganism carriers holding microorganisms for gas treatment are fixed and packed inside the piping.
