PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission probe or the like capable of improving the spatial resolution, illumination depth and light intensity.

SOLUTION: The light emission probe to be used for detecting biological information by utilizing light emission includes a light beam generating means for generating light beam having a bright part in an area around the beam axis or in areas across the beam axis on the optical cross-section perpendicular to the beam axis. When the light beam is emitted from out of the living body into the living body, interference light of the light beam entering the living body is formed in the vicinity of the beam axis, so that the interference light is used to obtain information from the living body.
