PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create and update a unique playlist including preferences of a plurality of users on a network, the playlist being individually created by the user in a player. SOLUTION: A playlist management server includes a shared playlist creating section for creating a shared playlist by collecting the unique playlists received from each player 2. The player 2 is provided with a difference list creating section 25 for creating the difference list between the shared playlist received from the playlist management server and the unique playlist of the player, and a unique playlist updating processor 26 for adding a content list to the unique playlist when the content list stored in the player is included in the created difference list.
