PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to use a first spacer layer on a first substrate and a second spacer layer on a second substrate, thereby providing the liquid crystal display device which secured cell thickness over 6μm. CONSTITUTION: A first spacer layer(100) is formed on a first substrate(200). A second spacer layer(102) is formed on a second substrate(250). A liquid crystal layer(260) includes liquid crystal between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first spacer layer and the second spacer layer is formed on the first substrate and the second substrate. At least one part of the spacer layer is overlapped with at least one part of the first spacer. The thickness of the liquid crystal layer is over 6μm.
