<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance reducing apparatus of a ship, capable of discharging fine bubbles onto an external surface of a ship bottom, reducing carbon dioxide contained in emission gas discharged from the ship, and further suppressing energy consumption by suppressing the amount of water absorption from outboard. <P>SOLUTION: The resistance reducing apparatus, which is installed on a ship S and suppresses fluid resistance of a ship bottom external surface S1, includes: a separator 30 for separating carbon dioxide contained in the emission gas of a diesel engine 10 (internal combustion engine) installed on the ship S; a pump 50 for absorbing outboard water; a dissolution apparatus for mixing the carbon dioxide generated by the separator 30 with sea water compressed by the pump 50 for dissolution; and a jet nozzle 70 for jetting the sea water discharged from the dissolution apparatus 60 onto the ship bottom external surface S1 toward stern side from bow side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
