<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system for estimating the position of a tool which is used for a remote controlled actuator that changes, by remote control, the posture of a tip member for supporting the tool arranged at the tip of an elongated spindle guide section having a pipe-like outline. <P>SOLUTION: The remote control type actuator 5 includes the tip member 2 arranged at the tip of the spindle guide section 3 in such a way that the posture of the tip member is changed freely, and the tool 1 rotatably supported by the distal member 2. The navigation system has: a means 54 for storing the relative position of the tool and a tool marker, that stores the relative position of a processing section of the tool 1 with respect to a tool marker; a means 55 for storing the relative relationship that stores the relative position and posture of the tool marker with respect to a main unit marker 7A for every rotation angle of the tip member 2; and a means 56 for estimating the position of the processing section of the tool that estimates the position of the processing section of the tool 1 based on the position and posture of the main unit marker 7A and rotation angle of the distal member 2 upon real operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
