<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control device that reduces frequency of driving an oil pump as much as possible while ensuring lubrication required for a vehicle drive unit. <P>SOLUTION: The drive control device for a vehicle drive unit includes: an input member 30 drive-connected to an engine 3, a drive shaft 50 drive-connected to a driving wheel; a rotary electric device 2 drive-connected to the drive shaft through a gear mechanism 4; a scraping gear 51 included in the gear mechanism and cooperatively rotating with the drive shaft; and an oil pump 73 for supplying lubricating oil to the gear mechanism. The device includes: a lubricating oil supply management part 84 which manages the oil pump based on a specific relation specified by the torque of the rotary electric device and the rotating speed of the drive shaft; and a pump drive control part 93 which controls the drive of the oil pump in response to a drive request from the lubricating oil supply management part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
