<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuner unit apparatus in which a main control section and a sub control section control an operation for receiving a television signal in a tuner by I2C communication and which can prevent interference in communication between the main control section and the sub-control section. <P>SOLUTION: The main control section 2 controls an reception operation of a digital television signal in the tuner 4 and an operation in a main control target 5, and the sub-control section 3 controls a reception operation of an analog television signal in the tuner 4 and an operation in a sub-control target 6. When the sub-control section 3 is controlling the reception operation of the analog television signal in the tuner 4, a demodulator 7 causes a state that a control signal transmitted from the main control section 2 is not transmitted to the tuner 4.
