<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement vane pump improving durability of a bearing part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This pump includes a housing receiving a cam ring therein, comprising a discharge portion and a suction portion open from a side wall, a bearing portion 2b provided in the housing to support a drive shaft, and an oil supply groove 26a formed on a side wall 2 to connect the discharge portion 24 to the bearing portion. A vane is provided such that at least a part of the vane is out of the oil supply groove when the vane rotates and moves to a position where the vane overlaps the oil supply groove.
