<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibrations due to resonance of a support system, the resonance of a receiving cylinder, and the resonance of a housing cover and noise involved with the vibrations during spin-drying. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The washing machine has a washing tub rotating washing, a hollow fluid balancer formed on the side of the washing tub, a motor rotatively driving the washing tub, the receiving cylinder storing the washing tub and supported on the housing by a supporting means, a vibration sensing means to sense the vibration of the receiving cylinder, and a control means to control the motor. The fluid balancer has a plurality of liquid storage chambers capable of storing a fluid and having an opening permitting water to be poured from the outside. The control means has a valve for controlling water pouring in accordance with the output of the vibration sensing means and a valve control means, and has a water pouring revolutions commanding means to decide on revolutions at which water is poured in accordance with the revolutions and the output of the vibration sensing means.
