<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet application device capable of preventing a spacer particle-dispersing liquid from being improperly discharged due to intrusion of cleaning liquid into a discharge port for the spacer particle-dispersing liquid. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet application device, a cleaning unit 31 includes: a cleaning liquid discharge port 62 arranged at a position being apart from the discharge port for the spacer particle-dispersing liquid in an inkjet head by only first distance in the direction of discharge of the spacer particle-dispersing liquid to discharge the cleaning liquid toward a position being apart from the discharge port in the inkjet head in the direction crossing the direction in which the discharge ports are arranged in a row orthogonally; a cleaning liquid suction port 66 being apart from the discharge port for the spacer particle-dispersing liquid by only second distance being smaller than the first distance in the direction of discharge of the spacer particle-dispersing liquid and arranged at a position being apart from the cleaning liquid discharge port 62 in the direction in which the discharge ports for the spacer particle-dispersing liquid in the inkjet heads are arranged in the row; and a moving mechanism for moving the cleaning unit 31 toward the direction in which the discharge ports for the spacer particle-dispersing liquid are arranged in the row.
