<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a choke coil that reduces an energy loss even when eddy current increases owing to shortcircuiting among the interlayers of amorphous thin bands. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a magnetic core 1, an amorphous thin band 4 is stacked and insulation bands 5 are provided among the interlayers. The magnetic core 1 is divided in the direction of width by insulation layers 6a, 6b and 6c so as to form a first magnetic core formation body 1a, a second magnetic core formation body 1b, a third magnetic core formation body 1c and a fourth magnetic core formation body 1d. A gap 3 is worked to suppress magnetic saturation phenomenon, so that the collapse of burr and shape is produced in the cutting plane of the gap 3. Although the insulation band 5 is pinched, shortcircuit occurs among the interlayers of the amorphous thin bands 4. However, the insulation layers 6a, 6b and 6c prevent interlayer shortcircuit from being propagated to the other magnetic core bodies. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
