<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damage to a cylinder block while integrating plungers of a fuel pump into one unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This internal combustion engine 100 includes: the fuel pump 30 supplying high-pressure fuel to a common rail 20; and a plurality of injectors 11 connected to the common rail 20 and performing single fuel injection with respect to single fuel-force feed by the fuel pump 30. The injection order of the plurality of injectors 11 corresponds to the distribution of the temperature of the bore wall of the internal combustion engine 100, and the injection order of the injector of the plurality of injectors 11 arranged in the cylinder having the lowest temperature of the bore wall is set immediately after the force feed by the fuel pump 30.
