<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new collagenase activity inhibitor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A potato extract has been found to have a collagenase activity-inhibiting action. This collagenase activity inhibitor is characterized by containing the potato extract. The potato extract is preferably a fraction having a mol.wt. of ≥10,000.
