<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing pump-up device for setting the pressure at sealing agent injection into a tire and the pressure at pressurizing the tire by a single pressure switching valve of simple structure, and a sealing pump-up method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sealing pump-up device includes a safety valve 52 for pressure switching between a liquid agent container containing a sealing agent and a pneumatic tire. The safety valve 52 for pressure switching includes a cylindrical part, a valve body 60 reciprocating in the cylindrical part 58, and a compression coil spring 66 urging the valve body 60 toward upstream. At the side part of the cylindrical part 58, a first cylinder hole 70 and a second cylinder hole 72 different in the cylinder longitudinal directional positions and making the cylinder part inside communicate with a tire side connection pipe are formed. At the valve body 60, a valve flow path 96 communicating with the upstream side and opened to a valve body side wall is formed. By switching the cylinder longitudinal directional position of the valve body 60, the safety valve 52 for pressure switching is switched between opened and closed states.
