摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the estimated torque of a power source. SOLUTION: An ECU 8 in a vehicle having a lockup clutch 24 for direct-coupling the input side and the output side of a hydraulic power transmission 2 provided between an engine 1 and an automatic transmission 4 has an engaging side learning section for learning a learning value at the engaging side for correcting the engaging force of the lock-up clutch when bringing the lock-up clutch 24 determined according to the estimated torque of the engine 1 into an engaged state; a release side learning section for learning a learning value at the release side for correcting the engaging force of the lock-up clutch when bringing the lock-up clutch 24 in a released state; and an estimated torque correcting section for carrying out the correction of the estimated torque of the engine 1 upon the establishment of conditions that the difference between the present learning value at the engaging side and a convergence value is a predetermined value or larger from the converged state of the learning at both the engaging side and the release side and that the present learning value at the release side is in a converged state.
