PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic coating capable of forming a coated film excellent in brightness feeling. SOLUTION: This metallic coating composition comprising an unsaturated group-containing resin, an organic solvent and a brightening material is provided by using an unsaturated group-containing urethane resin compound (a) as an unsaturated group-containing resin. The unsaturated group-containing urethane resin compound (a) is a reaction product of (A) a compound having ≥2 active hydrogens and ≤300 molecular weight with (B) an alicyclic or aromatic polyisocyanate compound and (C) a (meth)acrylate compound having an active hydrogen.
