PURPOSE: A method for notifying possibility of a call and an apparatus thereof are provided to supply a user friendly service in a mobile communication service by enhancing a function fro setting up a call possibility alarm point. CONSTITUTION: A reception exchange(400) senses a call state of a reception terminal and provides a mobile communication service for the reception terminal, and a home location register notifies to originating terminal a call enable state of the reception terminal. An alarm setting unit(620) sets up the call enable alarm for a corresponding originating subscriber, and an alarm control unit(660) performs the call enable alarm of the reception terminal by controlling an alarm processing unit(630).
