<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device or the like capable of alleviating processing loads when mute setting is changed. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 100 which is a kind of the display device is constituted by comprising: a mute determination part 120 which determines whether or not the mute setting of an image is changed; a display-side communication part 130 which receives image information from an image supply device, and transmits supply interruption instruction information toward the image supply device when the mute setting is changed from an invalid state to a valid state; and a display-side display part 140 which displays the image on the basis of the image information, and stops display of the image when the mute setting is changed from the invalid state to the valid state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
