<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle behavior control device attaining smooth steering control even when ground-contact load of a wheel is increased in case of high speed turning traveling. <P>SOLUTION: ECU 20 determines whether or not difference Δδrr of a rear wheel target steering angle δrrt and a rear wheel actual steering angle δrrr exceeds an abnormality determination threshold value δth at step S2, and when the determination becomes Yes, it determines whether or not lateral acceleration Gy inputted from a lateral G sensor 12 exceeds an acceleration determination threshold value Gyth at step S3, namely, whether or not operation delaying of a rear wheel steering actuator 8r is caused by increase of ground-contact load of a right rear wheel 3rr. When the determination at step S3 is Yes, the ECU 20 outputs ground-contact load reduction instruction to an attenuation force correction part 32 of an attenuation force control part 22 at step S4 and corrects it so as to reduce target attenuation force of a damper 4r of the rear wheel 3r. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
