<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power device for dry vacuum pump temporarily outputting a large motor-shaft output in a simple configuration and eliminating suck of foreign matters even when the foreign matters enter the pump and sucked and a high-torque operation is required temporarily, without increasing the capacity of the power device. <P>SOLUTION: The power device for dry vacuum pump includes a rectifier; a DC circuit including a smoothing capacitor; and an inverted circuit. The power device converts an AC power from an AC power supply into a DC power by the rectifier, supplies the inverter circuit with the DC power through the DC circuit, converts the DC power into an AC power in a specified frequency by the inverter circuit, and supplies it to a driving motor for dry vacuum pump. The power device for dry vacuum pump includes an auxiliary power circuit and a changeover means that supplies the DC circuit with an auxiliary power at a predetermined timing from the auxiliary power circuit and increases the voltage or current of the DC circuit when the driving motor requires a shaft output larger than a rated one, or stops the supply of the auxiliary power at the fixed timing when the large shaft output is not required. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
