<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for being attached to a bone that can substantially eliminate the risk of retraction, and can provide higher anchoring force. <P>SOLUTION: The attachment device with a radially expandable section is disclosed. The attachment device can have helical threads, for example, to facilitate screwing the attachment device into a bone. A method of using the attachment device is also disclosed.
